WHAKATANE COURT CASES

At, the May sitting of the Wliakatane Magistrate's Court a number of traffic and by-law offenders were dealt with by Mr E. L. Walton, S.M.

For operating a vchicle on February 22. without a warrant of fitness, Wm. Hohua was fined 10s ami costs 17s. The Inspector stated that the defendant was being tested for a driver's license when it was discovered that he held no warrant.

Sam Savage for riding a bicycle wfithout a light was fined 51s and costs 20s. For a similar offence' Herbert Thompson was fined .Is and costs 12$.
