SUCCESSFUL TE TEKO FUNCJ^^B t On Wednesday last a su^^^^H dance was held in the To T i in order to raise funds for 1 trict quota of the All ? riotic Appeal. The Rhythm jjJß^^ Orchestra from Te Puke ygSroviUei! c 1 excellent music and under the capi able direction of Mr Taffy Atkinson as M.C. the dance, which was splens didly patronised, went with a swing. s The ladies of the district provided a .delicious home made supper and f a produce stall run by Mrs G. Eiv- - ers, Mass Tweed and Mrs Pryor added considerably to the funds. Specy 'al thanks are due to- these ladies a and also to Mrs T. Dunderdale, Mrs - Paul Tame and Mr W. Saunders s who generously donated prizes for o various competitions which addedL a to the interest and profit of the evening.
