Sir, —The' suggestion put forward in your editorial recently that a nymnasium should be equipped is one which deserves support at any time and in particular during war. I feel also the suggestion will receive great support from residents of all ages. Perhaps some persr.n with some knowledge of the requirements will come forward and call u public meeting. If such, a facility could be arranged then it would serve many organisations.Tlie Boy Scouts would find it to their benefit, as would snoi-ts„clJa!lks members of Which require to be fit, while the Home Guard and Women's Auxiliary
are already keen on physical training. Now that the time is drawing close for the calling of married men (nto the forces there is no doubt some of those people would welcomes taking off a little avoirdupois ami Improving the bellows in readiness for serious training.
