AIRMAN FAREWELLED

CEREMONY AT SATURDAY'S DANCE Leading Aircraftsman Neville Harris was farewelled at the King Street Hall on Saturday night when the Borough Ladies Farewell Committee held another of its popular dances. Captain J. W. Wilson, in the absence of the Mayor, made a presentation on behalf of the County and Borough Farewell Committee, in doing so wishing L.A.C. Harris the best of luck. Mlrs W. Sullivan spoke on behalf of the Borough Ladies Committee and also handed the guest parting gifts. The dance was a well attendeu one, the music being supplied by Mrs Armstrong, while Mr C. Wallace contributed numbers for extra dances. Mr Atkinson proved a capable M.C. while the supper was the usu-i: outstanding one supplied by the committee.
