ARBOR DAY

TOMORROW is Arbor Day. The occasion marks the national effort to do something towards the planting of trees within the precincts of towns and populated areas. Like other features of the days of peace Arbor Day has this year been somewhat neglected, but it is to be trusted that something wijl be done to mark its significance, even if it is in the planting by local school children of trees to commemorate the evacuation of Crete, and the local men who fell in that action.
