ZONE K PATRIOTIC EFFORT To June 30 cash collections in. the Whakatane County and Borough veve £7,111 0s Btl' which amount was subscribed as follows:— Opotiki Inter-Zone £1587 16 2 Whakatane Inter-Zone £5523 4 6 The Zone allocation All Purposes Appeal is £5625 and if this sum is apportioned on a capital value basis the Opotiki Inter-Zone quota is £-183 arid the Whakatane InlerZono quota is £3442. Of this quota the Opotiki Inter-Zone has subscribed £1587 16s 2d and the Whakatane Inter-Zone £5115 15s sd. This latter sum includes £500 being the special Provincial Council gran I m regard to collections made prior to 31st August, 1940.
