FINNISH NICKEL MINES
NAZIS ARE INTERESTED NEW COMPANY FORMED German interests in Finnish nickel mines arc increasing steadily, it is learned from reliable sources in Helsingfors, A new company, it is understood, is being formed to work nickel deposits recently discovered at Levitunturi, in Petsamo Province in the far north of Finland. A controlling majority of shares in this will be held by the I.G. Farbenindhstrie, the big German chemical-trust. The nickel and copper niincS at Nival a, south of Uleaborg, were recently taken over by the Outokumpa company. This is controlled by the Finnish Government, but. German interests have important holdj ings in it.
