MEDICAL EXAMINATION OF BALLOTED MEN One hundred and nine men drawn in the first ballot have been examined by the Whakatane Medical Board and the percentage of mfcn passed as fit for service—the same standard being set as that for overseas service—is one of the highest, if not the highest, to be recorded in New Zealand.
