At a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Bay of Plenty Winter Show Association (Inc) held last night, the resignation of the secretary, Mr L. R. Spring, was received. The president, Mr A. J. Canning, and other members of the committee expressed regret that Mr Spring could not see his way clear to continue in this; position, and appreciation was expressed of. the capable and efficient manner in which he had carried out. his work during his two years of office.
