Once again to the breach, have rushed the Ohope residents, in the shape of the recently, constituted 'Progress and Ratepayer's League, anci the County Council at (its next meeting will,, by its courtesy be asked to afford speech to a-deput-ation of interested members. The projected pool though hoary in age and battered in nature by repeated reverses and "blitz's" has displayed an astonishing vigour of purpose and a determination to hold water. The Council was good enough to allow a breathing space for the opposition to marshal their forces and it is to be urgently hoped that with £200 already in hand and with such a weight of public opinion behind it, that the permit to build will be now forthcoming.
