WHAKATANE SALE Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report having held their monthly Whakatane sale when a small yarding of cattle came forward. Sheep were also yarded in small numbers. Competition was keen throughout and realisations were firm at late rates. Realisations: Eavc hoggets in wool 20sj, wether hoggets in wool 18s, 4tootli wethers 20s 3d, dairy heifers, best £8 15s to £9 17s 6d, dairy heifers, backward to £7 15s, dairy heifers, small £(5 to £7, yearling Jersey bulls £4 4s to £5 ss.
