MAIN HIGHWAY PETITION ONE THOUSAND SIGNATORIES The petition, bearing 1000 signatures representing town and in favour of the proposed 'Main High way, passing through thip town of Whakatane, was forwarded to Mr A. G. Hultquist, 31. P., last! Saturday. In due course it will be (handed on to the Minister of Publjic Hon R. Semple, who will be asked to accecd to the overwhelming opinion of the residents of t'.ie town.
