STRANDING OF TOA
HARBOUR BOARD ACTED PROMPTLY The clerk's action in having half hourly photographs taken of the posi tion of the Toa at the time of her tranding, and his placing on record immediately of certain facts connected with that event, were approved by the Whakatane Harbour Board at its meeting on, Friday. Mr J. W. Sumner, chairman, said H had been a wise move, especially regard to some statements made if the time.
