The progress results are as follows:—
Senior Championship: Cradwick 79, R. Horrocks 81, Hedlcy Powdrell Goodyer 83, Steel, A. T. Smith, Rangi Hyland, Spencc 85. Intermediated Good 87, Campbell 88, Montgomery 92, A. Clark 92, Henderson 93 t K. Morpeth 84, Marx 94 Mussctt 9G. Junior: D. C. Morpeth 84, Moore 95, Preston, Newman 97, Norris < C. Wilson 99, R. Withy Reenberg 103. The leaders at present for the Cap. tain's trophy are C. Wilson 99 —28--71 and Campbell 88 —1(5 —72. Wilson's handicap is reduced to 26. In the final of the Clarke Gup, Rangi beat P. Horrocks. Rangi also gained a win over K. Morpeth in the semi-final of the Fortune Cup. Next Saturday a four-ball bogey will be played, competitors to choose their own partners. At the week-end a team from the Whakatane Club visits Rotorua for their return match, the Whakatane team being as follows: Hedley Cradwick, R. Horrocks, Roberts, Brebner, Hyland, A. Morpeth, Goodyer, Luxton. Steel, Rangi Spencc, Suckling. Bridger, Darvill, P. Horrocks, D. Morpeth Reynolds, Bullard Good, Herrold Mussct, A. Clark. WHAKATANE LADIES On Thursday, the Mokorua ladies visited the Whakatane Club, a pleasant afternoon's match resulting m a v.*in for the Whakatane Club ? results being as follows (Mokorua names being mentioned first): — Mrs Symmans and Miss Moody lost to Mrs Bullard and Miss Black, Mrs King and Miss Old lost to Mrs Steel and Mrs Armstrong, Miss M. Rae and Mrs McGougan beat Mi's Sloane and Mrs Boon, Mrs Jarrett and Mrs Nicholls and Mrs Dewar and Mrs Berg all square, Miss E. Rae and Mrs Mulliol. land lost to Mrs Buddie and Mrs Suck ling Mrs Kelly and Mrs Wheeler heat Mrs Luxton and Mrs Otley, Mrs Armstrong and Mrs Graeff lost to Mrs Rangi and Mrs Ramson, Mrs Kent and Mrs Delves lost to Mrs Powdrell and Mrs Sumner.
