WHAKATANE UNION DRAW MATCHES .FOR THE MONTH The draw fqr the remaining matches in the ttrst round of the Wlia. katane Rugby Sub-Union's senior and junior competition has been announced. There will be two senior matches alt Whakatane on Saturday, Whakatane playing Taneatua and Poroporo Waimana. Ruatoki has its lirst home match since the 1927 season when it meets Paroa at Ruatoki. The only junior fixture at Whakatane will be the meeting of Star and Paroa. Old Boys travel to Taneatua and Poroporo to Waimana. Starting times and referees will be announced later. The draw is:—■ Seniors. May 6: Ruatoki v Paroa at Ruatoki; Taneatua v Whakatane at Whakatane; Poroporo v Waimana at Wha katane. May 13: Ruatoki v Poroporo at Whakatane; Waimana v Taneaitua at Waimana; Whakatane v Paroa, at Whakatane. IN lay 20: Poroporo v Taneatua at Taneatua; Paroa v Waimana at Whakatane; Ruatoki v Whakatane at Ruatoki. May 27: Ruatoki v Waimana at Waimana; Taneatua v Paroa at Taneatua; Poroporo v Whakatane *i't Whakatane. Juniors.
