OTOROHANGA GIRL’S DEATH

ATTEMPT TO BOARD MOVING TRAIN (P.A.) Te Kuiti, Dec. 18. When she slipped in attempting to board a moving train pulling out of the Te Kuiti railway station yesterday at about 5.30 p.m., a schoolgirl received inuries from which she died shortly afterward. She was Dawn Begg, aged 15, daughter of Mr and Mrs A. T. A. Begg, of Haerehuka Street, Otorohanga. The girl had been to Te Kuiti to play tennis in the local competitions and was catching a train to return tc Otorohanga.
