NO NEWSPAPERS FOR THREE DAYS

DECISION BY BRITISH PUBLISHERS London, Dec. 23. No newspapers will be published by members of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association on three days over the Christmas period—Christmas Day and the Sunday and Monday following.' The Newspaper Proprietors’ Association, after a conference with the Printing and Kindred Trades .Federation, announced that Sunday papers cannot be published in London and Manchester on December 26.

Members of the National Society of Co-operative Printers and Assistants, in a number of London Sunday newspaper offices, refused to work on Christmas Day on terms accepted by all other newspaper workers.
