NEW MAKE CALLED THE MURAD

A new make of car, to be known as the Murad, is projected by a firm well known for machine tools, the Murad Machine Tool Co.. Ltd.. of Stocklake. Aylesbury, Bucks, England. It is to have a four-seater saloon body, and main mechanical features arc as follows: 4-cvlinder push-rod o.h.v. engine, of 72 x 92 mm. bore and stroke (1,498 c.c.), with hydraulic self-adjusting tappets; 4-speed separate gear box; independent front-wheel suspension and half-elliptic rear springing; and hypoid bevel final drive.
