64-FOOT CHRISTMAS TREE

DECORATION IN TRAFALGAR SQUARE London, Dec. 19. In London in spite of a cold, east wind people crammed into Trafalgar Square today to watch workmen decorate the 64-foot Christmas tree, which Norway has given. On the steel scaffolding which runs the whole length of the tree, are five stars affixed on the top. Beneath this, electricians decorated the branches with giant lights. Imitation snow was then scattered oyer the tree. Decorations came with the tree from Norway.
