London, April 2S. The United States Secretary of Defence, Mr Forrestal, today told the Senate Appropriations Committee that he knew of no immediate Government plan to ask Congress for military supplies for the five nations of the Western European Union. But, he added, the question might arise later. Reports from Washington have suggested that within, the next three weeks, President Truman would ask Congress to approve a plan far sending limited shipments of arms to the five nations.
