POTATO CROPS IN GISBORNE (P.A.) Gisborne, Jan. 12. Potato growers in the Gisborne district have little hope of selling 1500 tons of potatoes which will either rot or be ploughed in. Merchants say that the negotiations with the Government before Christmas reached no finality and the growers face serious losses.
