“GROW MORE GRASS” APPEAL
London, Jan. 12.
An appeal to British farmers to grow more grass and at the same time provide more food for livestock. has been made by the chief scientific adviser to the Minister of Agriculture, Professor Scott-Wilson. Britain, he said, would have to provide more beef and mutton in future and grassland would have to be improved.
