Early spectators on the Domain v/ere treated to some keen passing bouts in the first-half of the match between Takapuna third intermediates and the Tauranga junior B team. Tauranga appeared to have seized the initiative in the secondhalf, but the game ended as it had started with the score:— Takapuna junior intermediate 0, Tauranga junior B 0. Referee, Mr G. Brown.
