Reported Hanging Of British Sergeants Sill Has No Official Confirmation
t London, July 30. There has been no official news from Palestine about the fate of the two British sergeants, Mervyn Paice and Clifford Martyn, kidnapped 18 days ago by the Jewish terrorist organisation Irgim Zvai Leumi. According to an Agency report a statement was put out by the organisation in Tel Aviv saying that the two men have been hanged. * ~ . .. . ■ It is also reported from another source that the two sergeants have been hanged near Nathanya, the scene of the kidnapping. ... ... , Troops and police have been combing this area without results so far. , , Two British soldiers were killed near idedera and two others injured when their vehicle struck a mine.
