DISCUSSION ON BRITISH GROUPING PLAN

In a remote Indian village in Bengal a. conference lias been going on all day to-day between Mr Gandhi and Mr Nehru. Two other leaders of the Congress Party have been taking part.

A report says that Mr Nehru has been consulting Mr Gandhi about accepting or rejecting a recent statement by the British Government defining its attitude towards the grouping of provinces under the British constitutional plan. Mr Nehru is due to return to New Delhi to-night.
