THE RECOVERY OP AUSTRIA Complaint Made By Vice-Chancellor Restoring Country's Independence London, Nov. 8. The commander of the British forces in Palestine, General Barker, will return to Jerusalem to-day after his visit to London. General Barker is being succeeded, in February by General McMillan. Another railway explosion early to-day wrecked part of the track about 40 miles north-west of Jerusalem.

This latest action { by terrorists came only a few hours after the announcement that because of the coptinued danger of land mines no trains, either civilian or military, would for the present be run in Palestine after dark.

Royal Air Force planes were today searching for illegal immigrant ships reported to be approaching the Palestine coast.
