The American commander in Germany, General McNarney, has stated that the American authorities in Germany will not intervene on behalf of SctaeM, one of the three acquitted Nazi leaders, who is now held by the German ip-olice. He is to appear before a special court under a denazification law. Papen still: prefers to remain for tie present in a Nuremberg gaol and Fritzsche is in lodgings in the town. Both face possible trial by de*nazifieation courts.
