SARAWAK CEDED TO BRITAIN

WHITE RA JAH HANDS OVER CROWN TO ADMINISTER TERRITORY London, May 22. The Colonial Secretary said in the Commons that the Rajah of Sarawak and the acting British represdiitative there had both signed the instrument of cession. The act of cession was now completed and the Crown would take over the territory in a few weeks after legal and administrative arrangements had been made.
