HOLIDAY TRAVEL

FERRY PASSENGERS Special arrangements have been made in respect of the transport of. passengers on the ferries to Mount Maunganui on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. All tickets to Mount Maunganui, whether intending admission to the regatta or not, must he purchased at the ticket booth on Coronation Pier. Passengers for Pilot Bay on those days must take boats running to timetable as the extra boats will only run to Salisbury Wharf. Arrangements have been made to ease the congestion and make travelling easier. Lines have been painted on Cononation Pier and passengers are requested to keep in queues within the lines. The same arrangements have been made for Sunday, December 30 and January 2. but on those days tickets will be sold on the boats as usual.
