GREAT STRIDES MADE

London, March 31

The Indian Air Force will celebrate its 10th birthday to-morrow and Field-Marshal Sir Archibald Wavell, Commander-in-Chief, India, will take the salute at a ceremonial parade in the Punjab.

Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Pierse, commanding Allied air forces in India, said that the Indian Air Force had made great strides and that new squadrons were being added.
