The following is a summary of the latest war news: STALINGRAD A special' service communique states that the liquidation of the German forces in the Stalingrad area has beon completed. RUSSIAN FRONT Still driving back the Germans on the six main fighting fronts the great Soviet offensive is gaining momentum each hour. The great sweeping movements south of Voronezh may be more embarrassing for Hitler than the Russian advance in the Caucasus. In the northern Caucasus the enemy is in jfull retreat harassed and hammered by Russian cavalry, tanks and bombers. The Russians are now only 35 miles away from loach of the last two railway junctions left to Hitler in tl\\s area. These are Krapotkin and Tikhoretsk. TRIPOLITANIA A nine-point plan for the Allied administration of Tripoli and of Libya has been posted up in Tripoli. The British Minister of State in the Middle East, Mr R. G. Casey, said that the plan had been prepared before the advance was started. The population is advised to remain tranquil and obey orders. Arrangements have been made for all food supplies. The military will adopt a firm but just attitude toward the civil population. All Fascist leaders will be interned and Fascist Clubs will be closed. The Italian Courts of Justice will continue to function under military supervision until the end of the war. Libya will be occupied enemy territory and its ultimate fate will be decided by the United Natoins. R.A.F. OFFENSIVE Fighter squadrons of the R.A.F. Avero across the Channel in force in daylight and made widespread attacks in Northern France and Belgium. The targets included the railway station at Bruges. Three German planes were destroyed and four of ours are missing.
