REGENT Each recent year has brought to the screen a finer type of musical picture, but these new musicals would have a hard time surpassing “The Firefly,’’ with Jeanette MacDonald, which screens finally to-night at the Regent Theatre. TOWN HALL Frank Buck who is responsbile for many of the Far East wild animal specimens seen in the zoos and circuses has filmed his adventures in an epic picture released by RKO Radio under the title Frank Buck’s “Jungle Cavalcade,” which opens to-night at the Town Hall. Some of the most authentic fight sequences ever filmed are contained in P.R.C.’s “The Miracle Kid,” Tom Neal. Carol Hughes, co-starrers, also due to-night at the Town Hall.
