WINTER BOWLING
TAURANGA CLUB TOURNAMENT FINAL There was a large number of players on the Tauranga Bowling Club's greens on Saturday. The weather was ideal for the bowlers, and some good games were witnessed. Seven rinks were played during the afternoon, including the final of the tournament held on May 30. Kirk's team succeeded in winning Potter's free picture tickets by a margin of 11 points. The final of the tournament created much interest, but Potter's team was too strong for its opponents and won by eight points, therefore winning the trophy orders.
