Mr and Mrs A. W. Nash, St. John Street, have returned home from a visit to Auckland where they attended the wedding of their elder daughter, Ethel . Squadron Leader J. Dinsdale, of Te Kuiti, the Beaufort pilot Avho played a leading part in the latest attack on the German cruiser Prinz Eugen, is a brother of Mrs C. J. Steedman, of Tauranga. In recognition of his services to the Tauranga Bowling Club over a long period of years, Mr W. H. Gifford was elected a life member of the club at the annual meeting on Tuesday evening.
