Mr', and Mrs. Bronsom, of Taihape, are on a visit to Tauranga., Mrs. Bronsom is a granddaughter of Mr. H. J. Vickery, and she Alias brought with her her little son, who is Mr. Vickery’s great grandson. Mr. Vickery, who is still hale and hearty though eighty-four years old, is very proud to have his great grandson with him. In a chat yesterday, he said the only Tauranga boys left for him to indulge in reminiscences with now are Mr. H. J. Bickers, Mr. W. Harvey, Mr. J. Munro, Mr. Alf Davoren and Mr. C. Crabbe. Nearly all these were born in Tauranga, though they have not all attained Mr. Vickery’s age.
