Sir. —For some days employees the Public Works Department been engaged in excavating middle of the footpath on the south ern side of Spring Street, and pedes! trian traffic has had to go on to ifil roadway or take the pathway on the northern side. Now this liist-men-tioned path from Cameron Road to Durham Street has been badly fected by frost. It would be vas'tlv improved by a good dressing of small shingle -siftings and so would the footpath along the Presbyterian Church grounds in Spring Street Will the Borough Council attend to these paths as quickly as possible “PEDESTRIAN.- '
