The mother said that when she refused to buy the youth new trousers he cut off the legs of his trousers with scissors and destroyed her dress. •She said her son also said: “I’ve a good mind to run these scissors through you.”

The mother also said that her son would not stay in any work and when he was at home she could not control him. Once he had threatened her with a carving knife, and had smashed a mirror.
