Use of Sandalwood Traced Back to India
Sandalwood, obtained from a small evergreen tree of India, has been used at least as long ago as the fifth century B.C. | Whe'rev'ir Buddhism prevails, it is extensively utilized in funeral and religious rites, and also in making boxes, fans and other articles of inlaid work.
