BOY SCOUTS

COMMITTEE MEETING The resignation of Mr Blanchard as Big Brother to the Scouts was accepted with sincere regret, at the Committee Meeting of the Boy Scouts on Friday last. Acting Scout-master Flower referred to the very valuable assistance which had been given and the members of the committee joined in the hope that even in Mr Blanchard’s new occupation he would still be able to keep in touch with the boys.

The Acting-Scoutmaster introduced the question of week-end camps and assured the committee that they would be well conducted and that the Scout Devotional Service would be used. The committee unanimously approved of this suggestion. Reports from ail departments indicated that substantial progress was being made and that the work tor the concert to be held early next month was well in hand.
