PROCLAMATION OF THE KING’S ACCESSION. (From Our Correspondent). About three hundred residents and visitors assembled at the Town Board Office at 11 a.m. yesterday to take part in the ceremony of the reading of the Proclamation of the Accession of His Majesty King Edward VIII. Mr C. J. West, Acting-Chairman of the Town Board, read the proclamation, the simple ceremony concluding with the singing of the National Anthem and three hearty cheers for our new King.
