BUTTER MARKETING
SUPPORT FOR P. 0.8. SELLING
Realising that many regular buyers and distributors of New Zealand butter at Home are open to purchase f.o.b. from time to time, and having experienced the value to them of this regular f.o.b. cash market and fearing that an attempt may be made to remove or curtail their right to serve it, certain prominent co-operative dairy companies in the Auckland province are calling a meeting in the near future with a view to forming an association of all dairy companies in New Zealand which may be interested, and have pledged their support to the following objective:
An association of dairy companies to preserve the freedom and right which they at present enjoy to sell their produce f.o.b. or otherwise at any price they choose to accept and for any time of delivery, the delivery (as at present) being consistent with the method of spreading shipments as carried out by the New Zealand Dairy Produce Board.
