The Cabinet has approved of the investigation of the careers of all civil servants who have entered the •service since the founding of the Republic. Tliirf ns expected to be a prelude to “cleansing” operations. New regulations will exclude all Jews from the Civil Service in future. Only a few of those who served in the trenches or were in the service before 1914 will he allowed to renmin.
Herr Eric llanausi-en, a famous Jewish clairvoyant and water diviner, had been missing since March 23 and his murdered body was found by a cyclist near Berlin. The body was lying in a plantation, riddled with bullets.

The German Ambassador at Moscow, Herr von Uirkeen, informed M. Litvinoff, Foreign Minister, that Germany would not hinder Soviet economic organisations, but hoped they would discontinue associations with German Communists, M. Litvinoff denied this connection and disclaimed responsibility for private political activities.
