BAY OP PLENTY JOCKEY CLUB

A meeting of the committee of the Bay of Plenty Jockey Club was held in the Secretary’s office on Monday evening, Mr J. A. Guinness presiding. It was decided to engage the Municipal Band on race day, March 25. , J

It was unanimously agreed, that the win and place totalisator system be adopted for race day. This will mean that there will be only one enclosure for patrons, and not Inside and outside, as formerly. The admission charges to the enclosure will be reduced to 3s for men, and 2s for ladles, and 2s for motor* vehicles.

The tender of Messrs Adams and Song, of Auckland, was accepted for the catering, and that of Mr E. P. Fathers, of Paeroa, for the publican’s booth.

The tender of Mr B. C. Mansell, junr., for mowing and removal of grass from the race track, and all .enclosures, was accepted.
