SWIMMING

CARNIVAL ON FRIDAY EVENING.

Another swimming carnival will be held on Friday evening at the Municipal Baths, and no doubt will be well patronised by the numerous followers of the sport. Two features of the evening will be a water polo match, Tauranga v. Te Puke, and a Challenge Relay Race, Tauranga v. Te Puke, four men in each team. The Tauranga Club will be represented by A. Breward, A. Birch, K. Taylor and D. Wray.

The Swimming Club has arrangements in hand for a harbour race, which will be competed for about March 15. Further announcements will be made later.
