GIFT TO HOSPITAL

SUPPLIES OF ASPRO. The Manager of Aspro, Ltd., in a letter read at yesterday’s meeting of the Tauranga Hospital Board, confirmed their offer to supply Aspro to the Tauranga Hospital, free of cost, and advised the despatch of five packets of Aspro 108 s. A similar quality would be despatched monthly. The manager added: “This action of ours is simply a desire to assist the public hospitals of New Zealand during their present crisis, and in some measure to ease the strain on the public purse, because we feel that institutions such as yours are finding it extremely difficult to balance budgets now that financial assistance from the Government is so limited.”

The Chairman moved—That Aspro Ltd., be thanked for their donation. Mr McGhie seconded ahd said the donation was a very generous one. The motion was carried unanimously.
