NOW FASHIONABLE FOB WEDDINGS. “Friday is no longer regarded as an unlucky day for marriages,” said a West End registrar to a Daily Mail reporter. "That superstition has gone by the board. Such weddings, with week-end honeymoons, are now an established custom. "Our returns show that since the beginning of the year more appointments for marriages on Fridays, both in churches and in civil offices, have been made than ever before.”
