PRICES AT GISBORNE. At the annual horse lair rates for all classes improved on last year’s prices (says a Gisborne message). The sale was successful, prices being above expectations. Unbroken draught horses, annual draft, on account of -Mr Hutchinson, Waikohu, realised £2l to £34 10s, averaging £27; others to £27: medium weights, unbroken, £6 to £9 10s; light unbroken, £2 10s to £6; broken draught horses, consignment on account of Judd Brothers, hard fed, many five-year, £l4 to £35, averaging £23; others, £l4 to £32. Hacks much better ithan last fair; several £7 to £9, many £5 to £6.
