Lyons, declared that greatly increased business turnover was reported from all parts of Australia. ’’This is the best immediate outcome of the elections,” said Mr Lyons. “Let us endeavour to maintain and acccllerate that gratifying evidence of restored prosperity. “The perilous drift in unemployment has been arrested, and best of all the financial future: of Australia is more promising than it has been for months.”
