BOULDER DISLODGED
NARROW ESCAPE OF MOTORISTS
A party of motorists, returning from Auckland to Tauranga on Thursday night had a somewhat startling experience. The car was pulled up on account of engine trouble, in the Karangahake Gorge, when without warning, a large boulder, estimated to be about five tons, rolled down the hillside within three feet of the car. A slip immediately followed the dislodgment of (he boulder.
