It is reported that Uaewai and Kuril wl)o have been recently playing for the Grafton Rugby Club’s senior team have made the necessary arrangements to play for Marist and City Clubs respectively. They will take the field for the fiis t time at Carlaw Park next Saturday, ft is rather unfortunate that Pnewai. who won honours as a 1924 “All Black” should le the first of that combination to change over to another code. NO VERIFICATION OF RUMOUR. Auckland. July 15. Nothing is known in cither the Rugby Union or League official circles regarding the .suggestion that Paewai and Rum will be playing' the thirteen aside code on Saturday. The Marist secretary says that Pncwni certainly won’t be appearing for that Club.
